The Texas Tech men's basketball team lost to McNeese State 80-75 in the second game of a double header at the United Spirit Arena on Sunday.

Jaye Crockett led the Red Raiders in scoring with 17 points and 10 rebounds.  Josh Gray contributed with 15 points and three steals.  Trency Jackson and Dejan Kravic rounded out the scoring with 11 points apiece.  Texas Tech shot 47.5 percent from the field, just making 29 of 61shots attempted.  The loss now brings Texas Tech's record to 5-2.

On the other side court, Craig McFerrin led McNeese State in scoring with 18 points and six rebounds.  Kevin Hardy and Ledrick Eackles rounded out the scoring for McNeese State with 13 points apiece.  The Cowboys shot 55.9 percent from the field, making 33 of 59 shots attempted.  The win improves McNeese State's record to 6-3.

There is no rest for the weary as Texas Tech returns to action on Wednesday against SEC powerhouse Alabama.  Tip off is at 7pm.
