The Texas Tech volleyball team lost to Baylor 3-1 (23-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-18) in Waco on Wednesday.

The Lady Raiders committed 30 errors in the match to finish with a .065 hitting percentage in the match, their lowest of the season.  Tech didn't hit in the positive mark in the final two sets, hitting a -.031 in the third set and .000 in the final set.

It's the second time this that Tech had an opening set win only to lose the match in straight sets, the first time was against No. 22 Iowa State last Saturday.

Emliy Ehrle led Tech with 12 kills while Lydia Mckay followed in second with nine kills.  Rachel Brummitt led the team in digs with 17 while Tory Vaughan had 10 digs and Emily Ruetter had eight digs and 34 assist.

On the other side of the net, Baylor had a hitting percentage of .297 in the second set and a .333 in the fourth set to close out the match.  Leading the way for the Bears was Torri Campbell with 15 kills while Alyssa Dibbern had 14 kills and Adri Nora had nine kills.  Baylor finished the match with a .228 hitting percentage.

Texas Tech hits the road to take on new Big 12 Conference member West Virginia on Saturday.  First serve is at 12 p.m.
