Friday, Texas Tech Baseball (21-24, 6-12) opens up a 3-game series against the Oklahoma State Cowboys (32-11, 7-7) at Dan Law Field.

Staff ace Trey Masek gets the start for the Red Raiders Friday night. Masek's record is 3-1 with a 1.31 ERA. Masek will go up against the Cowboys Jason Hursh. He's 4-3 on the season with a 2.61 ERA.

Last week, against Oklahoma, Masek pitched 6 innings, gave up 8 hits, 5 runs with 3 of them earned in a loss.

Friday and Saturday's games officially start at 6:37p due to them being televised on FOX College Sports. Sunday's series finale gets underway at 2 o'clock.

The Red Raiders are currently in eighth place in the Big 12 Conference, 2 games back of TCU for the 7th spot.
