On Monday's edition of Sportsline, we spoke with Texas Tech Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt and got his reaction on the Chad Glasgow incident and other topics affecting Texas Tech athletics.

Hocutt said that Glasgow's leaving Texas Tech was "unfortunate," but agreed that it was in the best interest of both Glasgow and Texas Tech Athletics that the two part ways.

"We had a tough year defensively. It was frustrating and disappointing and unacceptable to everybody...and changes had to be made."

Hocutt said that, in the end, he was pleased that he could work a deal out with Glasgow.

Hocutt also talked about some improvements he would like to see come the Jones AT&T Stadium, including an improved sound system and a large screen video board. Hocutt also talked about what's on the horizon for Texas Tech spring sports and some possible discussion concerning Texas Tech's Tier 3 television rights.
