The Texas Rangers (6-9) tough start to the 2015 season continued on Wednesday with an 8-5 loss at the Arizona Diamondbacks (8-7).

The Rangers started off the top of the first by scoring a run through a Robinson Chirinos walk with the bases loaded. However, the lead was short-lived as the D-Backs scored two runs in the bottom of the first. An A. J. Pollock single scored Ender Inciarte and a Paul Goldschmidt ground out scored Pollock.

After grabbing a 2-1 lead, the Diamondbacks added additional runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings to extend their lead to 5-1.

Pollock ended up driving in another run in the seventh and Arizona added two more insurance runs in the eighth to make their lead 8-1.

The Rangers had a last-gasp in the ninth inning, scoring four runs, including one from an Adrian Beltre home run.

Archie Bradley earned his second win of the season for Arizona after pitching six innings and giving up one run and five walks. Rangers starting pitcher Yovani Gallardo had his record drop to (2-2) as he pitched five innings in the loss.

The Rangers road trip continues as they start a three game series Friday night at the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
