New Lubbock Christian High School football head coach Pete Stone joined Scott Fitzgerald for an extended interview on Wednesday's edition of The Sports Shack.

Stone said this week has been especially unique in his coaching career. Stone was promoted to head football coach and athletic director on Monday. Monday also happened to be the first day of Spring Practice for the Eagles. Stone has been with LCHS for the past decade coaching various sports, including baseball, and was the defensive coordinator for Eagle Football in 2012.

Stone talked about his overall coaching philosophy in taking over the LCHS athletic programs, "We're about raising godly kids. We're about teaching them to make good choices in their lifestyle, in their habits, what they do. In growing up, guys that are going to be leaders of  their family, leaders of their community."

Fitz and Stone also took some time to talk about the comedy that has been Andy Reid departure from the Philadelphia Eagles.
