Pete Roussel from CoachingSearch.com joined The Sports Shack with Scott Fitzgerald and Alan Berger to discuss The Texas Tech Coaching Search and other college football coaching news.

Roussel talked about the hot topic in Lubbock, Texas the Texas Tech head football coach search.  He talked about the candidates that were likely to be tabbed as coach, such as Chad Morris and Kilff Kingsbury.  He stated that he didn't think that there was a dark horse candidate.

He gave us more insight on Tommy Tuberville's decision to go to the University of Cincinnati.  He felt that it didn't make any sense for Texas Tech athletic director Kirby Hocutt to believe that Tommy Tuberville was not going to leave Texas Tech.

He talked about the other head football coaching vacancies across the country.  He talked about the possible future coaching opportunities for former University of Texas quarterback Major Applewhite.  He talked about what would happen in the coaching world if the University of Texas running backs coaching position became available.
