Forget the fact that four quarterbacks were taken in the first round. Forget the fact the there were numerous trades. Forget everything about the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft except for Alabama running back Mark Ingram's interview.

Ingram was selected 28th overall in the first round of the NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints. The Saints traded up to get the Heisman winning running back after striking a deal with the New England Patriots.

Ingram met with ESPN interviewer Suzy Kolber to talk about how it felt being drafted and what it meant to him. Kolber also read Ingram an email on her phone that was from his father, who is currently serving nine years in a federal prison for laundering and bank fraud.

Ingram couldn't hold back his emotions after Kolber read the email.

No word on if the email actually came from Ingram's father or not, but it's still a touching scene none the less.

Ingram's father played football in the NFL and was drafted pick 28 in the first round of the 1987 Draft. The exact same spot the Heisman trophy winner was selected last night 24 years apart.

Ingram being drafted could also mean the end of the road for Reggie Bush. Bush was drafted by the Saints in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft.
