A Lubbock man was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.

KAMC News reports that 36-year-old Anthony Rincon Gonzalez was arrested back in July 2018 after a sheriff's deputy attempted to pull him over for a bad brake light.

Gonzalez led the officer on a high-speed chase, running several stop signs. He eventually crashed into a fence in the 2400 block of 47th Street, ending the chase.

Officers seized more than $5,000 in cash, a handgun, and around 1,300 grams of methamphetamine from Gonzalez. He admitted that he was distributing it.
