Lubbock Christian Chaps defeated No. 22 Oklahoma City Stars 81-71 Thursday night in Lubbock at the Rip Griffin Center.

The Chaps (10-6, 3-1 Sooner Athletic Conference) won their second straight game behind a career high 25-points from freshman AJ Luckey. LCU finished the game on 13-0 run in overtime. The game went to the extra frame tied at 67.

The Chaps will next play host to Mid American Christian Saturday at 3pm in Lubbock.

The No. 1 Lubbock Christian Lady Chaps lost their first game of the season falling to the No. 6 Oklahoma City Lady Stars 79-68 in Lubbock.

LCU (16-1, 3-1 SAC) trailed 25-22 at the half to the Lady Stars and then went on a 18-6 run in the first 6 minutes of the second half to keep the pressure on the top ranked Lady Chaps.

LCU would cut the lead to 63-55 with 2 minutes to go, but couldn't get any closer to the Lady Stars. Nicole Hampton and Emily Atkins LCU with 16 points each while Desiree Jeffries led OCU (11-2, 3-0 SAC) with 19 points.
