Lubbock Christian University Sophomore Jordin Farris was named the Sooner Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for her performances in a pair of Lady Chap wins.

The sophomore helped lead the Lady Chaps to wins over University of Southwest (N.M.) and Wayland Baptist University with two goals against USW and another against the Pioneers.

For the season Farris has six goals in 10 games. Her goal total ranks her second on the Lady Chaps squad behind Brooke Wendl, who has 13.

The 11-0 Lady Chaps and Oklahoma City are the only NAIA teams without a loss or tie, and they join Bendectine (Kan.) as the only NAIA programs with 11 wins.

LCU returns to action Thursday Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. on the road against St. Gregory’s University.
