Hoops for Hope to Raise Money for Area Homeless

A local basketball tournament this weekend will look to raise money and awareness for the homeless population of Lubbock. Sunset Church of Christ and Link Ministries, Inc. will be hosting the Third Annual Hoops for Hope 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament this Saturday.

Proceeds from the event will go to the renovation of a kitchen at Lubbock's "Tent City". The tournament will begin at 10an at the One-9 Sports Park on 205 E. 19^th street, and admission for the tournament is $10.
