The San Antonio Spurs were unable to pull out a victory last night as they fell to the Denver Nuggets 112-106.

Danilo Galinari led the Nuggets in scoring with 28 points including a 3-pointer that gave the Nuggets an eight point lead late in the game.  Kenneth Faried contributed with 19 points and Corey Brewer rounded out the scoring with 16 points.  Denver has now won three games in a row.

On the other side of the court, Tim Duncan led the Spurs in scoring with 31 points and 18 rebounds.  Manu Ginobili contributed with 16 points in a losing effort for the Spurs.  Two free throws by Tim Duncan and a jumper by Manu Ginobili brought San Antonio to within four points with 53 seconds left in the game but bad three point shooting late in the game, cost the Spurs the victory.  They have now lost four out of their last five games.

San Antonio is in action Friday night at home against the New Orleans Hornets.  Tip off is at 7:30 pm.
