The Denver Nuggets halted the James Harden barrage by beating the Houston Rockets 93-87.

Ty Lawson had 21 points to lead the Nuggets in scoring.  Kenneth Faried added 16 points and 16 rebounds to help lead Denver to victory.  Denver's stymied defense held new Rockets guard James Harden to a season low 15 points and 5 of 15 shooting from the field.

Andre Iguodala put Denver up by six with a huge dunk late in the game.  Rockets guard Jeremy Lin made the game 91-87 with a pair of free throws.  Chandler Parsons missed a 3-pointer in which Faried grabbed the rebound and dunked it to put the game on ice for the Nuggets.

Houston is back in action on Friday when they hit the road to take on the Memphis Grizzlies.  Tip off is at 7:00 pm.
