The Dallas Cowboys will try to put back to back wins together this week as they head to New Orleans to take on Drew Brees and the Saints.  Dallas is coming off a tough 27-23 win over the Minnesota Vikings this past Sunday.  This week the team will be going up against their former defensive coordinator in Rob Ryan.  Ryan was let go by Dallas last season after they failed to make the playoffs once again.

New defensive coordinator Monty Kiffin will have his hands full this week as he is going up against one of the most potent offensive in the NFL.  Drew Brees and company come into the game averaging almost 400 yards of offense a game.  Their defense is also much improved under the direction of Rob Ryan.  They have turned around what was considered the worst defense in the league in 2012.

Now Dez Bryant has been the talk of the team for the past few weeks.  There were reports about Bryant dealing with some disc issues in his back but whatever seemed to be the problem and cleared up and he should be ready to be in the starting lineup on Sunday night. For Bryant it should be an interesting matchup facing the team that he torched for a career high 224 yards last season.

The 5-4 Cowboys still sit in first place of the NFC East as the other members continue to struggle.  Dallas looks to move to 6-4 on the year with a win on Sunday.  Kickoff for that game is set for 7:30 pm from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans and can be seen on NBC.
