The Dallas Cowboys used a strong running game and defensive score last night to beat the Miami Dolphins 24-20 in the Pre-Season Hall of Fame Game.

The rookies got most of the spotlight last night for the Cowboys as cornerback DeVonte Holloman had 75-yard pick six and running back Joseph Randle led the team with 70 rushing yards.

Tony Romo didn't play with the first team offense as backup Kyle Orton got the start in the Pre-season opening game for Dallas. Orton wasn't particular impressive only going 2-3 for 25 yards through the air.

The Dallas Defense forced two turnover on downs in the second half and two Dolphin turnovers en route to the win for the Cowboys.
