The Dallas Cowboys have promoted running back Lance Dunbar to the active 53-man roster from the practice squad.

The Cowboys made the move on Monday when they returned to practice after their bye week.  Dallas feels that Dunbar could have a quick impact on kick returns.  Dunbar joined the Cowboys as an undrafted rookie from North Texas.  He had 15 carries for 105 yards and a 58 yard touchdown in the preseason finale against the Miami Dolphins.

Dallas is back in action this week when they hit the road to take on the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, kickoff is at Noon.  The Cowboys are coming off a 34-18 loss at home against the Chicago Bears in which Dallas Quarterback Tony Romo threw five interceptions.
