The Dallas Cowboys confirmed Tuesday that starting quarterback Tony Romo and his wife Candice Crawford had their baby on Monday.

Hawkins Crawford Romo was born –eight pounds and eight ounces – on Monday at 5:30 p.m.

The family reported both Hawkins, and his mother Candice are doing well. Candice, a former Miss Missouri winner, and Romo were married last summer.

The Cowboys return to the field for the start of OTAs and mini-camps in mid-May. The start of training camp is expected to be in late June.
