My dear friend Kristi is the owner of Bliss Boutique among other great Lubbock businesses. Every year she works tirelessly to benefit Women's Protective Services and the women and children they help. We can help her this holiday season too.

Every year Bliss boutique brings out their Giving Tree. All you need to do to help is get a gift for one of the many women or their children that have unfortunately found themselves needing Women's Protective Services. These women and their children often have gone looking for help with nothing more than the clothes on their backs. They're not expecting any kind of Christmas this year. But we can change that. If you can think of any kind of gift for kids of all ages, and the mothers trying to protect them, take it to Bliss Boutique and leave it unwrapped under the Giving Tree. Kristi makes multiple donations to WPS every year, and will take everything given to them in time for the holidays.

Remember that domestic violence and abuse don't take the holidays off. In fact the holidays always see a rise in domestic violence cases. Now more than ever these families could use a reminder that someone else cares about them. And these innocent kids could really use a little Christmas magic at the lowest times in their lives.

"It’s time again for our #givingtree to be put to work! Every year (with your help of course) she collects gifts for women and children of all ages who are in the care of Women’s Protective Services of Lubbock. Think back to being a kid and how excited you were to find a present under the tree🌲 with your name on it! Perhaps YOU or someone you know has had to leave your home with nothing but the clothes on your back. Whether or not you believe in Christmas, Santa Claus or the holidays...YOU can help bring a smile to someone’s face and put joy in their heart on Christmas Day. Bring 1 gift or 10..our Giving Tree accepts them all! Please leave gifts unwrapped. Thank you in advance for your generosity in support of something near and dear to our hearts."

And if you or someone you know is in need of assistance for cases of domestic violence please contact WPS immediately so they can help sooner rather than later.
