On Monday afternoon, the Houston Astros struck a deal with the Toronto Blue Jays to acquire right-handed relief pitcher, Roberto Osuna. The one weakness coming from this Astro team was a lack of bullpen help and they hope that this could be the piece that puts them over the edge and in line for another World Series.

However there is still a glaring inconvenience with Osuna. He is currently under suspension from the MLB but will be eligible to pitch in the big leagues starting Sunday after a 75-game suspension under Major League Baseball's domestic violence policy. Even though he is scheduled to return Sunday, Osuna's jeopardy with Major League Baseball discipline is not necessarily over. If new details emerge in his case, MLB could reopen the matter.

Players on the Houston Astros have been asked what they think about the trade and their stance on Osuna.

Here is Justin Verlander talking about the new addition.

Verlander has been very outspoken on matters just like this one, the most notable incident coming back in 2016. However in the video, Verlander seems like he is open to talking about the matter with Osuna.

The Astros begin a three game series on Friday with the team they defeated in the World Series last season, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
