Erik Ezukanma is a 4-star, 6'2" receiver who is blazing fast and held offers from Washington State, Utah, SMU, Texas A&M, TCU and several others. The speedy receiver chose Texas Tech on his local news station by throwing a fake Utah Ute hand signal before breaking it off and making it a guns up.

In his junior and senior season, maxpreps.com says Ezukanma caught 125 passes for 2,181 yards and 29 touchdowns.

Ezukanma has an opportunity to make noise as a freshman with several receivers graduating and potentially an early NFL draftee in Keke Coutee. Ezukanma talked about being recruited by Kliff Kingsbury. "The offense is perfect for me," he said. "I have a great relationship with Coach K and Coach Jones. I feel like it's a great fit for me."

The 4-star recruit known as Easy-E was excited to hear Coach Kingsbury was coming back to the Red Raiders, calling him a "great mentor." It seems like a big reason Easy-E chose Tech was because of the chance to be on the field early. "We discussed playing time. I feel like I can play as a true freshman," Ezukanma said.
