The #21 ranked Texas Tech open up a three game conference series against the Oklahoma Sooners on Friday as they look to bounce back from back-to-back loss earlier in the week.  Tech fell on Monday to the University of New Mexico by a score of 4-3 and was shutout by Big 12 foe TCU 4-0 in a non-conference game on Tuesday in Abilene.

As for the Sooners, they come in supporting a 25-17 overall record along with a 5-7 mark in Big 12 play.  They are also looking to get back on track after a three game losing as they fell to West Virgina on April 19th by a score of 9-5.  The Sooners then lost to the University of Texas-Arlington on Tuesday 6-5.

The Red Raiders (32-13) are looking for their third straight series win after sweeping two in a row.  They are also trying to earn their third series win in Big 12 play while looking to win their first series over the Sooner since 2010.  First pitch for Friday's game is set for 6:37pm with Saturday's game two set to go off at 12:02pm.  Sunday's series finale is set for a 2:07pm first pitch and all of this action can be seen from Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin park in Lubbock.
